The Democrats want you to keep silent and not talk

Michelle Malkin's got some great looking photoshops showing what the Democrats would really like of America's citizens, provided by Gates of Vienna, Are We Lumberjacks, and a few others

Yes, Germany was going after our "allies" (although we were officially neutral, and had no "allies" per se) and our interests, but they were bending over backwards to push things to the point where open war would be declared. That was the parallel I was pushing -- prior to World War II, we stretched and distorted and perverted our "neutrality" to do everything we could for England (and, to a lesser degree, the Soviet Union) and oppose Germany -- much like Iran is doing today. And we, like Germany, are studiously ignoring repeated violations of neutrality and acts of war, because we aren't prepared to actually wage that war.

The parallels don't bother me too much, because I can understand the rationales behind both positions. It's that I'm identifying our current actions with those of Nazi Germany's -- even though it was the only sensible choice -- that makes me uncomfortable.

What an interesting idea! The only risk I see would be that she's distributed her lists in multiple spots. If they were in one place (i.e., a single notebook with tabs for each room, or at least all notebooks together) she could more easily see all her "open loops" without having to go from room to room. Additionally, having them in one spot would make the (crucial) weekly review (i.e., GTD "care and feeding") easier.

Thanks for the props on the hipster cover generator! It's great to see that people find it useful (and creative :) ). I love my HipsterPDA and while it hasn't completely replaced my PocketPC, it has come close. I especially like that I can take it to meetings and have every "screen" I could possibly want available - and I can look at them simultaneously.

I recently (yesterday) created a little web application that allows students to customize note taking sheets according to the Cornell Note Taking method. Feel free to take a look around - http://eleven21.com/notetaker - Thanks again for the mention!
