Who’s More Powerful

CNN or the Blogosphere?

It appears that the fact checkers at CNN are having a bad day. They have lots of time before the debate to select questioners. Bloggers take less than 8 hours to unmask four of the questioners as obvious Democrat plants. Man, those bloggers are fast!

From Michelle Malkin’s blog:

Michelle Malkin » Digging out more CNN/YouTube plants: Abortion questioner is declared Edwards supporter (and a slobbering Anderson Cooper fan); Log Cabin Republican questioner is declared Obama supporter; lead toy questioner is a prominent union activist.

I also note that the Republican candidates didn’t avoid the likely (and since proven) set up with CNN. Democrats still run away from Fox News. They are probably afraid they’d be tortured - not by Fox, but by twisting themselves into logical and verbal knots.

Jules Crittenden Lets the Cat Out of the Bag

November 15, 2007

Congratulations to Jules Crittenden!

Not on his 1-year anniversary in blogging, for revealing the underlying motivation for my blog.

Jules Crittenden » A Year of This

Thats when I discovered, like all bloggers, when they finally find a way to project the voice they’ve always loved the sound of, that I had been waiting for something like this for most of my life. (emphasis added)

Nice going Jules. Now everyone knows why I blog.

Congratulations on your blog - I read it everyday.

(I’m going to have to buy a sock puppet)

Testing GTD Tips

April 11, 2007

I’ve just started looking at Netvibes (www.netvibes.com), R-Mail (www.rmail.com) and Gmail.

Rmail allows for the automated forwarding of RSS feed updates to an email account. I have Rmail forwarding a copy of blog entries here to my email address so that I can have a copy of every post archived in Gmail.

This could be very interesting…if it works.

It’s a bit lonely in here…

Wizbang Blog pointed to a post at Willisms by Jay Tea, one of the Wizbang blogger team. The thesis is that all of the most successful blogs are team efforts, less a few exceptions like Michele Malkin and Glenn Reynolds.

This seems to imply that this blog is doomed without the infusion of some more people. I wonder if having a split personality would help.

Writer’s Cramp!

July 2, 2005

First I get a blog, then I get a writer’s cramp - terror strikes, what will i say, how hokie will I sound? Then I remember, almost no one will ever read this. My random musings will be stored away in that great circular bitfile in the sky.
