I Know It’s Not About a Specific Candidate

but I like the sound of the new word Jules Crittenden creates in his post:

Scientific Enstupidment

Enstupidment deserves to be in the political lexicon, whether scientific or not.

It’s up there in my mind with “beclowning one’s self.” The image it conjures up in the mind is dramatic and vivid.

Oh, and the rest of the post is interesting for the discussion of how “scientists” deal with outlier observations.
