I’ll Bet He Meant to Write "Elitist"
Tigerhawk posts on a NYT column by Clark Hoyt. Hoyt’s writing about the response he’s gotten over the decision to add William Kristol to the opinion pages.
One of Hoyt’s comments struck me as probably wrong, but only slightly so:
[William Kristol] is not a person I would have rewarded with a regular spot in front of arguably the most elite audience in the nation.
“Elitist” is the word Hoyt was probably looking for.
