Either Tongue in Cheek or Smoking Crack
I’m not sure if Jay Tea of Wizbang Blog is: a) pulling our leg(s); b) devolving into Machiavellian chaos; or c) smoking crack with this post: Nancy Pelosi, political genius - Wizbang
He has all the facts correct - Murtha, Hasting and Mollohan are all corrupt, all wanted to be in positions of power, and all lost due to an uproar from both within the Democrat party and without. But the logical leap from that set of facts to the claim that Ms. Pelosi is a genius is a bit much. Rope-a-dope only works for a while and against certain kinds of opponents.
Ms. Pelosi has thrown away any chance to give the impression of a strong, well-coordinated Democrat majority in the House. She doesn’t have that large a majority that she can do that with no problem for her during the coming session.
