Robert Kagan does a Masterful Analysis of the NIE News

September 27, 2006

Robert Kagan in his article More Leaks, Please - washingtonpost.com does a very good analysis of the faulty logic behind the conclusions drawn by both the newspapers reporting and the NIE itself - at least based on reporting about it.

John Podhoretz May Be On To Something

or not. He posts at The Corner on National Review Online regarding the NIE leak and subsequent release.

"If the source lies to you or uses you for his own personal motives, then you are released from the pact."

That may be true, but it’s only operative if the reporter and the leaker don’t share the same political agenda.

What? Reporters have political agendas!? Say it ain’t so! (h/t to Instapundit)
