What the Heck was I Thinking!?

Gates of Vienna posts about a commenter to one of their posts earlier in the week. The first real comment that got me to thinking about Sweden as the mine canary of the West was this:

 

Gates of Vienna: Die Dummen Schweden The relatively small and society-disintegrating leftist ELITE of the country wants the MULTICULTURE to dominate the land and the lives of its People — without ever having asked the People.

He speaks - dare I say it - truth to power. This is a fair redition of the agenda of the "multiculturalists." Kill the Western culture that has been so imperfect in its history. Replace it with all those other cultures that, because they aren’t powerful, must be innocent of any current or past cultural sins.

 

The commenter points out some of the head-spinning logic applied to these down-trodden victims:

 

"Approximately 70% of Sweden’s healthcare capacity is used by immigrants (2003) — however, to a decidedly smaller extent in June, July and August, because then one is home on vacation in those countries one has fled from."

Returned home on vacation!? This absolutely boggles the mind. How can liberal politicians, liberal bureaucrats or liberal activists look themselves in the eye and believe they are doing the right thing with other people’s money? It is other people’s money - not the government’s, not the rich people’s (although I am sure that many of the rich in Sweden pay well more than their fair share of taxes), not the crown’s - it’s their fellow working class citizens who are being robbed.

 

This commenter doesn’t hold back:

"Only multicultural fanatics/lunatics can invent such a ridicule-arousing concept as “persons with Swedish background”."

We make the same kinds of errors when we ignore the difference between a US citizen, born or naturalized, and a US person. The latter is a fiction of law that is used to hamstring the government’s ability to collect information about enemies of our country and culture who just happen to be in our country at the time. Instead of calling such persons by their right name: Enemy or Invader; they are given legal standing by being called a US person. They are given all the protections of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. You will even hear their collaborating lawyers say that there is no citizenship test or qualification in the Constitution. That’s a problem in the making.
