A gift beyond measure

October 8, 2005

I was pointed toward a posting on Sigmund, Carl and Alfred that is a true gift. It’s called “Lessons from a Decent Man.” This is the kind of story that, as one of the commenters said, you want to print off and put in your wallet. Then, when you’re in need of a lift, you can take it out, read it again, and remember just how great we humans can be if we focus on doing something kind and thoughtful for others.

It reminds me of a quote I’ve heard, “There’s no limit to the good you can accomplish if you don’t care who gets the credit.” It was attributed to Winston Churchill, but I’ve not been able to confirm that.
